Qui sommes-nous
Elimu Mwangaza Tanzania (previously known as Elimisha Pamoja Tanzania) is a non-government organization which was established in January 2014. The organization works in Moshi Municipal and Moshi rural in Kilimanjaro region.
Our aim is to raise awareness in the community, train children on their rights and responsibilities, and build the capacity of targeted primary schools and communities to address security, moral and discipline issues which affect children´s learning.
Mission
To stimulate and promote quality education, child protection, and child participation to children through trainings and awareness rising to families and communities at large.
What we do
• Elimu Mwangaza Tanzania will promote child protection through trainings, seminars, workshops, meetings and throughi, education and communication materials. We, currently promote child protection through trainings, meetings, sports and children right clubs in Moshi District Council.
• The organization also supports vulnerable children from poor families to access learning materials such as exercise books and pens. The support to vulnerable girls and boys prevents child abuse, stigma, discrimination, bullying and reduce truancy and drop outs.
• The organization aims to build skills of duty bearers on child protection and the mechanisms to address child abuse, and violence against children.

Our Projects
Elimu Mwangaza Tanzania is implementing the following project on child protection, child participation, education and strategically addressing issues that affect children with disability.
• Government Engagement: Elimu Mwangaza Tanzania engages the Local Government Department through Education and Community Development/Social Welfare Department to discuss and identify factors that affects child protection and education in Tanzania. The government is engaged through meetings and consultation. The organization also engages teachers on child protection and quality education.
• Support to Vulnerable Children: The organization supports vulnerable children in ChemChem Primary School through provision of school materials such as exercise books, pens and pencils.
• Promoting Sport: The organization has established a sport club in ChemChem Primary School and has supported school with footballs and jump ropes to help children access their rights to play.
Michael Reuben Ntibikema is the Executive Director of Elimu Mwangaza Tanzania.
For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
