Qui sommes-nous

The Bolingo Foundation is a non-profit association founded in 2013 with the aim of giving people in need hope and happiness again. We are working to improve basic medical and educational care in Congo and Angola.
The idea of founding a club came to us on the return flight from Congo, Kinshasa and Luanda , Angola in October 2013. After intensive research, consideration and discussion about which projects to approach and how to prioritize them, finally the founding meeting took place.

Short-term goals:
• The Bolingo Foundation supports schools with teaching materials and primary school pupils with school supplies. Selected children are financially supported by us by paying the school fees.
• The association also supports the health centres with medication and food.


Long term goals and projects:
• Establishment of educational institutions for children and adolescents
• Combating poverty by providing clean water supplies
• Supporting children and improving their social environment
• Constructing our own health centres with local laboratories
• Giving many people access to qualified medical treatment.

Projects:
• The E.P. 3 Bahumbu school is the first one we have selected to promote the best students whose parents are unable to pay for their education. The goal is to prevent these children from landing on the streets only because their parents cannot afford to pay the school fees. We have paid the remaining second term school fees for 52 students - pupils we have selected with the help of the school management and who have performed well in class. We hope to continue to support the chosen students in the future by paying the upcoming 3rd term school fees and more.

On request we can offer other net participants overnight accommodation. We can also give advice and provide up-to-date information and contacts in the field of our work.
