Qui sommes-nous
Out of the passion to help the poor and needy in society meet a very basic necessity in our modern society HETAC was born. HETAC (Help Educate The African Child) International Foundation, founded in 2015, is a Non – Governmental Organization whose core mandate is to support the education of very poor kids in very remote villages while educating their parents on the need to sacrifice everything they have for the education of their kids.
Our aim is to bridge the gap between these underprivileged kids and their city counterparts, by providing them with Teaching and Learning Materials amongst other things.
Our vision is to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor in the area of education in Africa.
Our mission is to raise exceptional students, transformational and God – loving leaders from the very deprived communities in Africa.
Our services
• Support for schools and school children in remote areas of Africa
• Scholarship for needy but brilliant kids in Africa (covers high school bills)
• Empowerment of parents to support the education of their wards financially.
Project:
• HETAC Impact Project (HIP) is therefore designed to provide staffing support to the schools in the communities. The names of the beneficiary communities are Abotareye, Aboat, Manpong, Adansi and Edaa. Moreover, pupils in these communities would have the opportunity to be mentored by our volunteers during the period of the project and beyond. New and more practical approaches to teaching would be employed by volunteers while pupils are given guidelines to effective ways of studying and practicing the lessons learnt.
James Zogli is the Director of HETAC (Help Educate The African Child) International Foundation.
