New Life Organisation (NLO) is non profit local organisation started in 2016 and registered in 2019 to empower youth, women, elderly, children and other underserved group with focus to health, hygiene, sanitation, agriculture and other social and sustainable development programs.
Goal:
New life Organisation goal is to make individual and community achieve a better living world with new life experiences from program that empower and serve the lives.
Objectives of New Life Organisation
• To foster new innovation programs that are scale and suit local development process realization at individual, groups and community.
• To support individual, groups, and community to innovate and participate in development of social programs that focus on better living from health, sanitation, water, agriculture programs
• To open new hope, new invention, new approaches that link local or indigenous knowledge to new world.

To be an organization that is fostering in innovative social economic development programs of the grass root people in Tanzania.

To spearhead effective participation of all community members, groups, and individuals in innovative health, water, hygiene, sanitation, agriculture programs that focus to better living for underserved community.

What we do
• Youth Economic Empowerment: We promote youth and provide support to become social entrepreneur, agriprenuership, job creation. This is through skills development, business cases and innovations support and strengthening business network growths. Guide youth on job training and self-employment mastering. Our youth become agents for solar products, food vendors, processors, solar technicians, market vendor, fishermen, beekeeper etc
• Women Empowerment: We promote women to take lead role in democratic norms and culture in the operational area. Building capacities of women, communities, and their groups to engage effectively with government and other stakeholders for getting their constitutional and legal social, economic and political rights. We also focuses on enhancing women income generation skills through capacity building and micro credit.
• Business Development Training Services: We support youth and women to acquire skills through Training on saving scheme (Village Community Bank (VICOBA), Youth saving and lending association (YSLA), Business Plan Development, Constitution development, Enterprises formation and development (SMEs, YLES), Mentorship and Coaching Sessions
• Agriculture, Environmental and Renewable energy: We promote climate smart agriculture and precise farming using drones, GIS, and other digital farming approach, cleaner technology, scale improved energy efficient products. We have promoted hydroponics and aquaponics technology, fish caging, RAS systems and fish liner for earthen ponds. Use of cleaner technology for climate smart agriculture such as solar driven water pump, drip irrigation, however in poultry we promote improved chicks farming and intensive systems.
• WASH: Water , sanitation and hygiene: We promote use of improved latrines, low cost technology to manufacture hygiene products, use of low cost for treating water such as SODIMAS, and water harvesting techniques. However we promote local and indigenous knowledge to drill water and surveys.
• Health and safety: We engage in Reproductive Health and HIV Prevention through social behavioural change, communication, marketing of health products (Dume condoms, Salama) and engaging in all key health issues such as malaria, family planning, maternal and child health, TB and other. Support base education and sexual rights. Develop immunization programs for venereal diseases and epidemics. Implementing of health and safety management systems and occupational health management systems formulation. NELO participated in social engagement in geophysics, social engagement in geo-technical survey and resentment plan for EACOP.
