Qui sommes-nous

Sree Padma Rani Mary Mahila Mandali (SPRMMM) is a non-profit organisation, established in 1984 that works primarily in the domain of gender, employment, human rights, health, education, child & youth development, food & nutrition and animal husbandry. Its primary office is in Badvel, Andhra Pradesh.

Sree Padama Rani Mary Mahila Madali-NGO (SPRMM) is a major registered non-governmental organization that is committed to serve the vulnerable people in the community for their sustainable development. SPRMMM has been extending services like child care and education, integrated community development and drinking water bore wells in the target areas. There is no doubt that water and sustainable development are inextricably linked. Without adequate supplies and management of fresh water sources, sustainable development simply cannot take place.

Sree Padma Rani Mary Mahila Mandali implemented different developmental activities with cooperation of international donors, local people donations, organization members contribution and coordination of local NGOs, Government departments.

Because of this project women got work instead of begging and their children going to school regularly. Each woman got earnings Rs.8000 to Rs.9000 through this program, this money utilized for their children schooling and for medical aid. During this project we have given training to target area people. Because of trainings men left the habit of alcohol. Women protected from men harassment at home. They kept the donated pig unit as asset and also, they got new piglets.
• Education Support Program: 120 dropout girls selected from Badvel & surrounding dalit areas under this education support project (give second chance to be in school). Still this project is going on. Not yet completed. The girls will be provided with bicycles, books, pens, bag, shoes, socks, uniforms etc… all supported material to continue their schooling. The people will be educated towards “girl right to education”, govt education schemes, gender equality. The school staff, PTAs, SMCs, counselors will be educated & trained to interact with girl children & their families.
• Dairy Development Project: 40 women got one buffalo each. Earlier the women look after the animals of land lords. But now the women are owners of animals (buffalos). One she buffaloes is equal to one acre of land. They women are feeling securely with their asset
• Broom Sticks Making Project: 10 women benefited through this project who belongs to migrated families. Working capital provided to the women to purchase raw material to production of broom sticks. And created a market area to sell them and generating income to maintain their families.
