Qui sommes-nous
Christian Community Healthcare Foundation - Kenya (COHECF KENYA) is a non sectarian and not-for-profit-making organization registered in April 2017 and based in County Estate Gatua, Kitale, Kenya.
Our main goal is to empower our communities for sustainable development. COHECF KENYA is led by vibrant people who have the grassroot linkages with those who require support most.
Our focus areas are Health, Education, Peace, Agriculture, Youth and Women Empowerment.
Mission:
To build healthier, safer, literate and productive communities capable of supporting self-directed positive citizenship for self-reliance.
Vision:
Endeavours to empower vulnerable communities towards economic and social sustainable development.
Motto: Together we transform lives.
What we do
• Healthcare: We strive to increase access to health services for marginalized communities in rural and urban areas, especially the women, pregnant mothers and children. We seek to reduce maternal and child deaths, and HIV prevalence rates among the vulnerable people in our communities.
• Education: Education is the key to success in any society. As an organization we partner with the National and county governments and any other relevant organizations /institutions
in improving education standards in ECDs, Primary, Secondary schools and in Vocational training centers by providing tools and equipment for use and in coming up with educational projects meant to spur learning and development. We will avail opportunities and resources through partnership with likeminded organizations so as to conduct capacity building, provide learning materials, facilitation of communities to improve decision making on sustainable economic development.
• Peace: There can never be development without peace. As COHECF KENYA, we’ll partner with all relevant organizations to promote peace activities in our communities for peaceful co-existence.
• Economic Empowerment: The main drivers of our economy are the youth and women and as COHECF KENYA, we intend to provide support in order to enhance the capacity of the youth and women in Kenya to initiate, govern and be self-dependent through engagement in micro-enterprises.
• Agriculture: Together, we build capacity of small scale farmers so as increase productivity and profitability resulting into better living for the small scale farmers. We encourage youths to take part in agriculture to help reduce youth unemployment and become self reliant.

• Teenage Mothers Skills Training Project
• FuSION:(Inter) cultural heritage education For Social InclusiON
• ToLERaNce is a 24 months Capacity Building in the Field of Youth Project.
