Community Initiative for Enhanced Peace and Development (CIEPD) is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-partisan organization, established in 2010, working to transform conflict situations in rural and urban communities in the Niger Delta.
Our mission
To promote respect for human life and development of communities through capacity development, conflict transformation, research and participatory community approach.
Our vision
A peaceful society with respect for human life and development.

By the year 2025, we have a Nigeria with respect for human life and development.

• Promoting Agro-forestry in rural Ogoni land as local support global sustainable development effort agro-forestry training for economic empowerment
• Girls in Engineering, Mathematics and Science (Gems) Competition
• Information Communication Technology (ICT) Development Workshop for Young Girls
• Community Engagement for Improved and Sustainable Access to Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (COMA-WASH)
• The Bayelsa Conflict Prevention and Peace Building Project in Sagbama Local Government Areas Bayelsa State.
• Enhancing Peace building through capacity building, mainstreaming conflict sensitivity, strengthening social bonding and mitigating conflict
• Violent Conflict Prevention and Transformation in 3 at Risk communities in Bayelsa State

Egondu Esinwoke Ogbalor is the Founder and Executive Director of Community Initiative for Enhanced Peace and Development (CIEPD).
