Qui sommes-nous

We are a nonprofit organization called Association Santé Meilleure - Vie Meilleure (SM-VM) recognized of public utility in Togo, Maritime Region. SM-VM aims to promote health, social and sustainable development and was born in the philosophy of Socrates who says: Is there anything more precious than health? The poorest person in the world would not trade their health for money but the richest person in the world would spend all their money on their health.

Our objectives:
• Take into account social and territorial health inequalities.
• Fight against sexual violence, take care of victims of sexual violence, train, educate and sensitize the population about the risks.
• Promotion of sexual and reproductive health
• Ensure access for all, under equitable conditions, to adequate sanitation and hygiene services and end the open defecation, paying particular attention to needs of women and girls and people in vulnerable situations.
• Improve and optimize epidemiological surveillance and the monitoring of health risks.
• Develop and guarantee the effectiveness of actions of prevention and health promotion.
• Ensure preparation and response to threats, alerts and crises sanitary.
• Ensure a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being in educational sectors.
• Contribute to reducing the extreme poverty of grassroots populations.

In order to achieve its objectives, the association intends, among other things, to:
• inform, educate, communicate, train
• create medical-social centers.
• build toilets to preserve hygiene.
• organize peripheral care campaigns in different prefectures.
• organize seminars, workshops, open days and conferences.
• collaborate with public authorities, the media, local communities, associations local communities, associations with the same objectives both nationally and international associations with the same objectives.
• participate in radio and television broadcasts.

Project:
• Construction of a health center in the village of Atitoè
• Project for the care of patients suffering from Asthma in Togo
• Project to empower people with disabilities: My disability, my strength for environmentally friendly entrepreneurship
• Project for the construction of the drinking water borehole and the public latrine
• Project to strengthen the capacity of surgeons in so-called essential surgery
• Project to supply medical equipment to health centers

Somabey Dossavi is the President of Association Santé Meilleure - Vie Meilleure (SM-VM).

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
