Qui sommes-nous
Rural Care Ministries was formed in Jupudi village in March, 2004. Rural Care Ministries (RCM) is a non-profit organization formed in order to help the people of Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh state in India. Our assistance is meant to be holistic - we want to meet the needs of the whole person, including spiritual, physical, educational and emotional.
The Society was established with basic aim of providing social services to all community but particularly to women and youth so they may become self-depend & stand on their own feet. Such social services include handicapped welfare, education, health, nutrition, family welfare, development of education, women’s and child development and livelihood program, awareness in sanitation etc.
The main aim of the society to provide securities and alertness among women and girl child & technical training to these poor class families mentioned above so they may become self-reliant.
Our activities
• Children Education & Development: We have been conducting 5 children centers various villages for school going children. There are 25-30 children are attending to each center every day. We are providing Tutoring, Milk and egg to these children every day. We are also providing school supplies and new dress to the poor children once in a year.
• Health (HIV & Leprosy): Under health activity we are conducting Community based Testing programme on HIV. We have tested nearly 80000 persons and identified 750 new HIV positives from last 5 years in Guntur district rural areas. We have linked these identified persons with ART centers for free medical support.We are also distributed Nutrition food to Poor HIV effected children. We have distributed food supplies to 50 HIV effected adolescents during Covid-19.We are also giving support to Leprosy effected persons. We are working in a Leprosy colony called Bunny Nagar in Guntur district. There are 45 families in this colony. We have distributed Medicines, Blankets to these persons. We are running a children center in this colony. There are 30 children attending to this center. We have distributed Food supplies to these families during Covid-19.
• Women Empowerment: We have conducted skill training on Tailoring, Embroidery, Jute bag making, Woolen work and bakery food making for women and adolescent girls. We have also conducted Vocational training on Driving, Basic Electrician, Mobile repair to the young boys. There are 300 persons were benefitted through these all trainings. Now they are earning through these training. We have distributed 51 sewing machines to poor women and adolescent girls.
• Youth Empowerment: We have conducted skill training programmes for youth on 4 wheel vehicle driving training, Basic Electrician course, Mobile repair
• Community Development: We have distributed blankets, sarees to the widows in our target areas. We have laid 6 Drinking water pumps in 6 various villages. There are total 300 families are using these pumps. We are also visited forest people and distributed sarees and dress to the children in that forest community. All the people belongs to Tribal community. There is school facility for children to study.
