Qui sommes-nous
Project Mosaic is a German non-profit-making organisation based in Mannheim. It helps people from throughout the world to find placements as voluntary workers with one of our many partner organisations in Guatemala and/or Nicaragua.
Our field of work:
Voluntary work – We mediate international volunteers for various organisations and projects in Central America (Guatemala, Nicaragua). We are also recognised by “Weltwärts” as a dispatching organisation.
Support ofr our partner organisations – Apart from dispatching volunteers, we raise funds (donations of money and in kind) for our partner organisations. We also support them with education work and networking.
Our philosophy:
Voluntary work is one of the best ways of promoting communication and understanding between people of different cultures.
We make a point of seeing that both sides – organisations and volunteers – profit from the cooperation. We try to do this by competent advice for the volunteers, close contact with our partner organisations and educational events and activities for both sides.
We are opposed to any kind of discrimination and have no political or religious orientation.
We can offer other net participants contacts in Guatemala with people working in the area of development policy. Other possible means of support: long and short-stay volunteer placements in Guatemala.
