Qui sommes-nous

- Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe dritte Welt e.V. was founded in Dossenheim in 1979 by 18 citizens who no longer wanted to stand idly by and watch the misery in so-called Third World countries.
- The association has set itself the goal of promoting the education and vocational training of children and young people in these countries in order to enable them to help themselves and others later on.
- Also helps with healthcare for people in these countries.
- Has so far forwarded over €30 million in cash and in-kind donations to projects, giving thousands of young people a perspective on life in their countries
- Currently has around 700 members who make a permanent contribution of at least €2 per month to the association's projects.
- The work is non-partisan and non-denominational.
- Carries out all work with volunteers.
- Uses the donations and membership fees directly for the projects without deductions.
- Prepares each project thoroughly and works exclusively with reliable and altruistic local project sponsors. As a result, all projects to date have been highly targeted and effective.
- Is constantly in direct contact with the responsible project sponsors on site.
The association Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe - Dritte Welt e.V. thus provides help that gets through.
